Bill Fuhrman's Berkshire Western RR in Bethlehem, CT is the centerpiece of a train room containing hundreds of American Flyer® "S" gauge trains and collectibles. The layout is one level with continuous operation and features a multitude of closed frog turnouts powered by Del Aire pneumatic switch machines and an abundance of original Plasticville structures. The trackwork is code .172 and was purchased by Bill from fellow club member Bill Krause in 1986. Tethered Rix handheld cab controls provide the DC current for train operation. Bill runs everything from Flyer to scale on his hirail layout. You can send e-mail to Bill at: cbrf@snet.net
