Art Ferguson's layout started as an HO layout and was "converted" to S mostly be replacing the track with Shinohara flex and turnouts.

Art's layout loops around the whole room with a peninsula into the center. The photo above shows the peninsula.

Keddie Wye is a signature scene of the WP scratchbuilt for the HO layout and still in use on the S version!

Shown above an American Models Pacific locomotive with a brass tender and an express boxcar.
An SP bay window caboose being passed by a train hauled by Art's WP 2-6-6-2. The latter, shown in another photo, is a River Raisin C&O brass engine converted to a WP by adding an American Models Pacific tender.

This photo, known as "Walthers Bridges," shows an S scale bridge convered from three of the HO
double track bridges combined to make a single track S bridge.
