SENATE ROLL CALL VOTE ON THE HALF-CENT FOR AMTRAK

Friday, June 27, 1997

Here is the roll call from the successful Senate vote to keep the Amtrak half cent in the "Revenue Reconciliation Act of 1997." The vote was on a McCain point of order to strike the half cent, and we needed 60 "Yeas." The result was 77 yeas, 21 nays, 2 not voting.
