Call the Capitol Hill switchboard - 202-224-3121. - and ask for your House and Senate representatives. You will want to make separate calls for each of your two Senators and House member. Also, please call other Senators and Members of Congress in leadership positions.

Keep letters short and simple. When the representative's phone is answered, simply say you wish to register your support for Amtrak, and give your name and address. It is important to give your name and address so your opinion will be counted; that is how the system works on Capitol Hill. It's OK for more than one person in each household to call.
