The pics on this page show the Canal Line "cut" where it goes through downtown New Haven, CT. These pics were taken circa winter,1992-93.

You can make out the existing brownstone tunnel portal in the above pic.

The underpasses on the line now serve as shelters for New Haven's homeless.
