Geno Dailey - Just Who Is This Guy Anyways???

Really Bad Picture Of Me Crappy Little Title For My Personal Page

Hello to all my friends in Cyberspace!!  My name is Geno Dailey, I'm the middle guy in the picture to the left with my sister Emily and brother Joe, enjoying vacation at the greatest Amusement Park on the planet!!  Cedar Point!!!  Anyways, I'm glad you came to see this site and right now, you've found the page that explains a bit about me!!!

JUST WHO IS THIS GUY ANYWAYS?
OK, I'm 22 years old and am from just outside Buffalo, New York.  I've been an avid railroad photographer since 1994 and also dabble in model railroading. I've been lucky to have been able to ride some great train trips in the 1990's, such as some rare fantrips on the Buffalo & Pittsburgh Railroad in 1992, the last N&W #611 trip to Buffalo in 1993 and more recently, the Glass City Limited in 1998 as well as several Amtrak Trips.  I also have done photography for the Buffalo Southern Railroad outside of my own photography which is featured on this site.  I guess I got my knack for photography from my parents who have been wedding photographers for over 25 years, it runs in the family!!!

When I'm not doing this railfanning thing, I am a full-time student majoring in Media/Communications at Medaille College.  I work as a cashier for Tops Friendly Markets. I am also a member of the Western New York Railway Historical Society.

Outside of railroading, my other hobbies include, but are not limited to, Top 40 and Country Music, our College Radio Station WMCB-The Lizzard: Medaille College Radio, where I am Production Assistant and a regular on-air personality during the school year.  I also enjoy 20+ mile bikerides, walking, going to Cedar Point and drinking lots of Pepsi!!!  I also am into web page design as well.

My ultimate goal here is to have this site serve as an online database for my collection of photos, for you, the viewer, the site is here for you to see Conrail in its final years in Western New York, and how CSX has changed things from traffic patterns to what their repainted former Conrail equipment looks like, and if you're a modeler, my hope is that you will find the photo of the prototype locomotive you plan to model.
