At 10:48am, this Eastbound Manifest passed by with AC6000CW #637 leading on Track #2.
Looking just to the East of the platform, we see Train Q-265 with "Ex-Con" #7124 a C36-7 which started as Conrail #6638.
After a quick lunch break, I returned to Depew to see C40-8W #7849 leading this Eastbound TV Train on Track #2 at 12:56pm.
At 1:03pm, CSX Frontier Yard Local train FY-14 is seen heading East (The locomotive is actually pushing the train) to the A Industrial track with Ex-Con #2743, former Conrail #8112.
Heading west on Track #3 is Ex-Con #8845 an SD40-2 which is former Conrail #6480, seen at 1:22pm.
This TV train was next up with AC4400CW #261 leading on Track #2 at 1:23pm.
On Track #3 heading East is this Multi-Level Autorack train with C40-8W #7653 leading at 2:24pm.
And now for some Amtrak Action!! Train #64, the New York City-bound "Maple Leaf" is seen stopping in Depew still sporting an F40 for power, the train had it's normal consist that day and arrived at 2:30pm, about 15 minutes late.
And Finally for the day is Amtrak Train #63, the Toronto-bound "Maple Leaf" seen stopping at Depew running around 20 minutes late at 3:13pm. A good day of railfanning, I would have stayed later but had to go to work that evening, overall, the Chicago line is much busier and something to see if you are visiting the area or just want to kick back and get in some good railfanning.
