Scioto Tower
Scioto Tower is located just west of downtown Columbus, Ohio. On Friday August 2, 2002 at 2:00pm, Scioto Tower closed and in late 2006, it was demolished. The tower was built by C&O and New York Central railroads in the 1920's. In present times it was used to control the crossing of the CSX Columbus Subdivision, Columbus Line and the Western Branch with the Norfolk Southern Cincinnati Line and West Va. Secondary.
