Looking north is the Bridger Mountains once you entered the Gallatin Valley.
Further along, the low hills to the north of the Gallatin River.
We ran along the Gallatin River west until Three Forks, where it joins the Jefferson
and Madison River at the Headwaters of the Missouri River.

Logan has one of the last Northern Pacific water towers remaining.
Logan is also where the line to Butte the North Coast Limited used, we stayed on the route of
the Northern Pacific's Mainstreeter.
