Bill picked Elizabeth and I up at 7:00 AM and we took CA 55 to CA 91 to Interstate 215 to Cajon Blvd, then hit light rain showers so we pulled under the Interstate 210 bridge as a train was coming toward us.
BNSF 7280 West below Ono. Bill drove us the rest of the way to Swarthout Canyon Road and parked at the grade crossing and we waited for our second train of the day.

Union Pacific 7214 West with Metro Ports KLWX NRE 3GS21B-DE 0805. This was our last train at Hill 582. We next drove east to MP 49.

Mount San Gorgonio. We then drove to West Colton and stopped at The Habit to get lunch to go which we took to the Pepper Street bridge at the West Colton Union Pacific Yard and ate our lunch.
Union Pacific Bench Local returning to West Colton with Union Pacific 1442 ex Western Pacific GP40-2 3533 and Union Pacific Yard 699 ex Missouri Pacific GP15N 1699. We left West Colton and followed the Union Pacific line via Pomona before we headed home back to Santa Ana.
