The two of us drove over to the Carrollton light rail station and purchased a one-region day pass for this morning's ride to Dallas-Fort Worth Airport and my final piece of DART trackage.

This train arrived and went on its way to Carrollton-Franklin.

Our train came in and we took it to Bachman station, where we made a cross-platform transfer to catch the next Orange Line train to DFW Airport. The line leaves to the Green Line through a junction.

We quickly climbed onto the viaduct.

Downtown Dallas. After the viaduct, the grade descends to University of Dallas Station.

North Lake, after which we stopped at North Lake College station followed by Belt Line station before continuing to DFW station.

The airport's control tower came into view.

Another train arrived on Track 1. We returned to Bachman station and made a two-track crossover to the Green Line train to take us back to the rental car at Carrollton.

Passing the maintenance shops of the Green and Orange lines.

Our train left Carrollton before we drove to the Saginaw station for my second day of 24 Hours At Saginaw.
