BNSF 7472 West with dust devils off to the northeast.
BNSF 5424 West. We then decided to follow the railroad on the south side.
BNSF 7856 East between Lavic and Ludlow. I saw another westbound train beyond Ludlow so we proceeded to my favorite spot by Lavic.
BNSF 6660 West just east of Lavic. The two of us drove to Pisgah and the paved road but the trains had other ideas for us today.
At Pisgah, we found this power set getting ready to back onto their train, specifically BNSF 7093, Norfolk Southern 8933 and BNSF 7259.
Pisgah Crater this afternoon.
BNSF 7198 East. We returned to Interstate 40 at Hector Road.
An unknown eastbound BNSF east of Newberry Springs. We exited Interstate 40 and took old US 66 into Daggett, finding another eastbound west of there.
BNSF 5522 East at Daggett. We then drove to the Yucca Avenue bridge in Barstow and found a railroad traffic jam.
Union Pacific 7609 West.
Back to the first train of the day, BNSF 7144 West, and we were done. We had lunch at Carl's Junior in Barstow then Bill drove me home, ending another fantastic trip to the BNSF Needles Subdivision.
