2014 NRHS Convention A&M Springdale Shop Tour 6/12/2014

After our Fort Smith trip, those who had paid for the event met in front of the Springdale station where Bart and I divided the group into two parts of 25 people. My group, along with Bart, would go to the new Car Shop building, where we collected the NRHS Shop Tour tickets.

There are two big fans to circulate the air. From here we walked over to the engine shop.

Arkansas and Missouri SD70ACe 70, ex. CAT Display Locomotive, built by Electro-Motive Division as EMDX 1201 in 2012.





Arkansas and Missouri C-420s 46 (ex. Louisville and Nashville 1354, exx. Seaboard Coast Line 1215, nee Seaboard Air Line 113 built by American Locomotive Company in 1965) and and 66 (ex. Delaware and Hudson 412, nee Lehigh Valley 412 built by American Locomotive Company in 1964).

This ended our NRHS Shop Tour and I led the group back to the bus then said goodbye to Bart and Steve Miller and left the station, stopping at Arby's to take dinner back to my room. I washed my clothes while I wrote my stories and finished both before going to bed.
