From Brookfield we drove south down Missouri Highway 11 to Mike Road and went west to the tracks and the grade crossing.
BNSF 6675 West. From here we went west to the Mendon grade crossing.
BNSF 7908 East at Mendon.
Union Pacific 7820 West. We drove back out to Missouri Highway 11 and took that to Route E, going through Rothville to the BNSF grade crossing.

There is no station on Depot Road. We took JJ to Kansas Avenue into Marceline.
The Marceline coaling tower. I took them over to the station so they could see and take pictures of that and the steam engine, after which we headed back to bridge 4 to wait for a westbound BNSF train.

BNSF 658 West. From here we returned to La Plata, stopping by Trainparty.com to see Bob Cox before going back to the hotel. But first, one more train stopped us on the way.
BNSF 7234 West came through La Plata. We returned to the hotel then at 4:15 PM, met and I drove us to Colton's Steakhouse in Kirksville where I had a well-deserved top sirloin. Back in my room later, I worked on the story before driving them to the Silver Rails Gallery, after which I finished the stories then called it a night.
