I was feeling so much better after a good deep sleep and arose at 6:30 AM so had almost nine hours sleep. After picking up some toast and taking it back to my room, I put the corrections in my story from yesterday. We had a few friends stop by the room and we talked about previous NRHS Convention trips in Chattanooga. After that we went down to the lobby and checked out, leaving our bags there and more stories were exchanged as we waited for the bus to arrive, which only took 25 passengers. I was the second passenger aboard and Chris followed us on another bus ten minutes behind. Back at the Western Pacific station here in Oroville, I waited under my umbrella for the train to arrive then everyone boarded and we waited for departure which occurred at 9:03 AM.
