Bill Compton picked me up just after 6:00 AM and we drove out towards Barstow via Santa Ana Canyon and San Bernardino, over Cajon Pass through Victorville. Due to a major accident on Interstate 15, we exited on Hodge Road which we took to Old Route 66 to Barstow.
At CP Hutt, BNSF 7376 West was waiting.
Also here was BNSF 4450 West. We filled the car with petrol and bought some goodies before we drove to Daggett then made our way out to past Ludlow, missing one westbound BNSF freight.
