There is something everyone should see in the Santa Ana station at this time of year.
Pacific Surfliner 763 departing on this very clear and windy morning with the Santa Ana winds blowing hard. A few of the departing passengers might have seen it but no one else aboard that train had any idea of what is inside the station where Amtrak sells their tickets.
The Norfolk Western J locomotive on the point of this passenger train that runs on this display. This is the 14th year that Gary, our fantastic head Amtrak agent, has this display together for everyone to see.
