Below is a shot of the main lines looking east.
HO tower is outlined in the bottom right of the photo. The yard tracks
split off on the left side of the photo. The black blob at the end
of the tracks is a stored Big Boy. The road that runs next to the
tracks is seen on the hill.
Below is a shot of the main lines looking west.
The branch line to Berkley Springs, WV is seen splitting off on the left
side of the photo.
Below is a track side shot of a maintenance of way train
heading through Hancock.
My layout is modular in design. To make it easy
to disassemble, I keep the scenery separate at the joints between two sections.
Seen here is the road with a thin crack to allow for disassembly.
I put a strip of styrene in the foam crack when putting in the plaster.
This allowed for a nice straight separation when the plaster dried.
