Chessie System C&O Wide Vision Caboose. This is a Walthers
Trainline Kit. It was one of the first
cabeese I ever did. It has a very correct paint job except the
ends and trucks came black. I weathered
the trucks to hide this and painted the ends blue. Today if I
had done this kit I would have painted the
trucks blue. The roof shows some rust, which was typical of C&O
cabeese. The road grime on the side
is also characteristic of a well used caboose. I put some clear
plastic in for the windows. This is a
good starter kit for any one looking to improve a commercial C&O
caboose.
