Use of Hand-Operated Crossover Equipped
With Center Locking Device

721. Before attempting to line the switches of a crossover
equipped with center locking device, the ground lever, located between rails
at center of crossover, must be operated to unlock the hand-throw switch stands
at each end of the crossover.
721-A. When the crossover switches have been restored to
normal position, the ground lever at center of crossover must be operated to again lock
the switch stands.
