New Pictures
    Some of my recent work.

Looking more like the Atlantic coast than Pacific, a Port of Tillamook Bay RR excursion train shows off the rocky shore near Garibaldi, OR.

Amtrak #11, the Coast Starlight, catches the last fleeting rays of sunshine as it rolls through Oakridge, OR on its journey south.

A beautiful spring day and the California poppies contrast nicely with scarlet and black SD70 9812 entering Eugene yard.

A couple of miles above Oakridge, A matched set of C44-9s lead train ZBRLA over Salmon Creek.

Very close to the end of the earth, The Sierra Pacific/Quincy RR switches cars in downtown Wendel, CA. Wendel is the junction between SP's Susanville and Modoc lines. The building pictured is the worldwide headquarters of NorthWestRails.com

The Willamette Valley in winter is frequently blanketed in pea soup fog. Occasionally the sun burns through early, making for some dramatic lighting, such as on this set of power in the Eugene Yard.

Splitting the semaphores at Talent, Oregon CORP's Hornbrook Hauler climbs out of the Rogue River Valley. Even though the train is short, seven units are required to make the grade to Siskiyou Summit on SP's original line into Oregon.
