"With
both gasoline prices and train ridership on the rise, now is an
important and exciting time to be active in TRAC. Our intent is
to step up collaborative work with other groups on behalf of improved
passenger rail service in California. To achieve this objective I
plan to survey TRAC's membership, establish a dozen TRAC action groups
and encourage more members to participate in order to respond more
effectively to California's many passenger rail-related issues."
