The final evening of
the Convention was the much anticipated Banquet and Dance in the Grand

Sights along the way to Queen Mary in Long Beach from San Pedro.
Downtown Long Beach as we came around the Queen to tie up for unloading
and a walk to the banquet on board.
|
A member who
was already aboard told us to proceed to the Observation Bar, the
rounded glass area in front, below the flags.
|
|
Next to the
Queen is a large dome in which the Spruce Goose used to be
stored. It is now a Carnival Cruise Terminal.
|
There was a convenient photo spot on the way to the Queen.

--------
A couple of nights after the Convention, the Cincinnati Railway
Rail Cars headed back home on the Southwest Chief. Since The
Chief 's first stop after leaving Los Angeles is Fullerton, my wife and
and I went to wave Goodbye to my new friends as they headed back to the
Midwest.
