One of the sights we would see on the boat trip to the Queen Mary would be the City of Angels Lighthouse.

A member who was already aboard told us to proceed to the Observation Bar, the rounded glass area in front, below the flags.

Next to the Queen is a large dome in which the Spruce Goose used to be stored.  It is now a Carnival Cruise Terminal.

There was a convenient photo spot on the way to the Queen.

A Perfect Evening ended by a Beautiful Cruise back to our Private Car Accommodations.

--------

A couple of nights after the Convention, the Cincinnati Railway Rail Cars headed back home on the Southwest Chief.  Since The Chief 's first stop after leaving Los Angeles is Fullerton, my wife and and I went to wave Goodbye to my new friends as they headed back to the Midwest.

IMG_6513.jpg
Bruce Holberg and Carole Walker, who joined the group and rode to Chicago.  Carole reported afterwards that it was a , "Wonderful Trip."

Ken Burkman and Cal Gerhard.

The Chapel Hill still looked elegant leaving Fullerton.
