Special Track Weekend To Be Held

The Ferrymead Railway is to hold two special track maintenance days on June 9th and 10th. The aim is to have as many workers as possible working together to re-align, re-gauge and spot sleeper the track at the entrance to Ferrymead Station.

Our new surfie, Les Kemp, has inspected all of our track and is working on a programme for the necessary repairs. Other work planned in the coming year includes other main line work plus connecting up road 6 in front of the carriage shed.
