New Trust To Be Formed To Preserve Royal Carriage

Long-time Canterbury Railway Society member Colin Dash is forming the Historic Rail Vehicle Trust to preserve Vice Regal car A 1825, which arrived at Ferrymead in October 1999. In later years the carriage was the Research Test Car and is now undergoing a restoration process to return it to the condition that it was in when used for the 1953 - 54 Royal Tour of New Zealand.
