CPR Facilities, Toronto, Ont

Took early morning CP Owen Sound passenger from Union Station to West Toronto, where
CPRs Lambton Yard and freight roundhouse is located. We had modern light 4-6-2 #1271, and
a 4 car train all streamlined equipment; streamlined express-baggage and three 2200 class
deluxe coaches.
Toronto Union Station:
Going out of station observed:
Alco S-2 yard engine #7059 and MLW/Alco S-3 switcher #6542; overnight passenger arriving
from New York-New York Central-Toronto Hamilton & Buffalo powered by CP F7As #1431 and
#1415--total 15 cars New York Central equipment and Toronto Hamilton & Buffalo coaches
in consist.
Other CP yard engines near Union Station:
Alco yard engines #7021 and #7022; MLW/Alco S-3 yard engines #6540, #6541 and #6544.
CPR West Toronto Station:
