Thanks to all that attended and helped at the 2011 S-Fest! Due
to your love for trains and the club the event was a success. Support like this
helps keep the 1/64th scale growing in avid membership and products! Lets all support
the next S-Fest as well and keep this trend going.
The Badgerland S Gaugers of the South Eastern Wisconsin will be hosting the
37th
Annual Fall S fest for 2012. As usual, we as local groups continue the long tradition of buying, selling
and swapping S-Gauge and S-Scale train equipment and related items, plus the traditional
clinics, tours, train races, friendship and much more. There is something for
everyone.
When and Where: The
2012 Fall S Fest will be held in Waukesha
WI, which is just west of Milwaukee
WI. The Marriott
convention hotel is just about 1/4 mile north of
I-94. And we have a good
hotel rate. More information posted as it arrives. The
dates are Nov 2, 3, and 4. The 4th is for layout tours.

Commemorative Car: The 2012 Fall S Fest car will be a
40 foot SOO LINE gondola with a 10 piece container load. There will be a choice
of two numbers on the car 2012 or a prototypical number. There will also be a
choice of colors on the containers, Black or Tucson. The decals for the
containers will be supplied with the car and will need to be self applied.

2012 HOST
S-Fest is an annual event hosted by one of four S-Gauge / S-Scale
groups in
the Wisconsin, Illinois, and Missouri area. The Clubs take turn in developing a
modular layout using modules from some of the members of all of the groups. Due
to this S-Gauge / S-Scale specific event, there are many S-Gauge / S-Scale and 1/64 suppliers from many
states selling their merchandise at this event. Products available at these
annual events include American Flyer collectibles, new S-Gauge / S-Scale items,
controls, details, and items used for S-Scale narrow gauge.
A standard gauge collector series car is developed each year and they are for sale representing the year
of the event and the club that hosted
the event. A patch is also available for collectors and generated for those of us who
collect or wear them at
shows.
