A train is moving from Rapids to Steven Point, via Highway 54.
It's 9am on a weekday, and I wouldn't expect to see them this time of day.
For people who know McCains potatoes but haven't seen it since in a while,
This train was very long. Empty pulp wood cars, boxcars, doublestacks, and 40 sand hoppers.
The colorful J looks bright on a cloudy Winter morning.
And in Wisconsin Rapids, a UP northbound is coming in. . . . . mixed freight and some set outs.
I don't see the UP very often, so I took too many pictures.
Under the paint, there is lettering for the 1590. Its a GP 15.
