Time to catch up with pictures of train action in central Wisconsin.
There's blue GT gps working in Plover and Point and even Wisconsin Rapids.
A black IC gp40 worked Plover and then went to McCain foods (potatoes) at Golden Sands. (I see the switch stand is no longer painted gold color)
First and Railroad Street is getting gates, after a few years with just a crossbuck and all trains stopping before crossing.
A rarity for me, I got to see one of the UP freights one morning.
Switch job crosses the Wisconsin River. There's two SW's working Rapids in late June and early July.
The paper mill dam crew is in the boat. (I've only seen one release of excess water for a few days in June)
Thiele Clay moves cars with a Trackmobile
A turn puts away cars from Nekoosa and Necedah in the early evening.
There's some empty DJTX blue pulp wood cars
None of these pictures were taken with a pole camera.
I have gone back to an old photo program to get smaller file sizes for pictures for a web page.
Some might get blurry if you zoom in a lot. But it saves space for the server and downloads very fast.
If you want the full size picture, please contact me. An e-address is in the box on my index page.
