Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.
A small Loram railgrinder camped out overnite.
It works very well for small jobs like street crossings.
They can go back and forth several times without blocking traffic.
Orange sparks from the grinders
This location is from the grass embankment of highway 34 just west of the paper mill.
Years ago, we were driving south on 34 and just popped over the top
and at this spot were 5 brilliant yellow UP engines in the morning sunlight.
And there was no time to even turn on the camera.
I have gone back to an old photo program to get smaller file sizes for pictures for a web page.
Some might get blurry if you zoom in a lot. But it saves space for the server.
If you want the full size picture, contact me. An e-address is in the box on my index page.
