North Kent West Junction

North Kent West signal box controlled the entry and exit to the Bricklayers Arms complex.

 

This is a modern aerial shot of the scene above. In the photograph above the pair of lines on the left (coloured yellow below) led through to Rotherhithe Road Carriage Sidings and the Long Slope on the South Eastern side, whilst the pair on the right (coloured orange below) led to South Bermondsey and the South London lines.

 

The top photo was taken from this (now derelict) bridge, looking to the right.
