

Bricklayers Arms shed
was once the biggest locomotive depot in South East London. It provided the
steam locomotives for a variety of services; from the expresses which raced
from London to the coast, to the more mundane local freight workings. After
over a century of service to the region it succumbed to property developers
in 1981. This page shows highlights the few features which have survived.
This first map shows where Bricklayers Arms was in relation to the stations it served.
