Bricklayers Arms Motive Power Depot: Homepage

Tank locos outside the Old Shed

Bricklayers Arms shed was once the biggest locomotive depot in South East London. It provided the steam locomotives for a variety of services; from the expresses which raced from London to the coast, to the more mundane local freight workings. After over a century of service to the region it succumbed to property developers in 1981. This page shows highlights the few features which have survived.
