UP 5775
UP 5775 leads a West Colton manifest west along the Lyndyll Sub.
Slideshow Narration
Similar to the previous picture in the slideshow, I caught this train just a few minutes later as it accelerated along the mountainside track. It had been waiting in the siding (just around the corner) to be passed by the previous train and now was heading west too. The line from here heading west is somewhat inaccessible, except by following the UP maintenance road, and I wasn't really desirous of doing that today. So I decided that the two pictures from this location would suffice and knowing a few more trains were coming, decided to go catch them as they rounded into view at Garfield a few miles east of here.
