The Ringneck & Western Railroad (RRWR), a Watco subsidary, started in May 2021 when Watco purchased the South Dakota state owned ex-MILW line from Mitchell to Presho, SD. Traffic consists mainly of grain, fertilizer, and paper products which they interchange with BNSF in Mitchell.
