Canadian Pacific 2816 was built by Montreal Locomotive Works in 1930 and ended it's service life in 1960. Although built for passenger service, it spent much of it's later years in fast freight service. After retiring from revenue service, 2816 was rebuilt and sees regular use in promotional outings on CP Rail.
