The Iron Horse Trail is the
former CMSt&P "Milwaukee Road" (MILW) line over the Cascades in
Washington
State. It features
a 2.3 mile long tunnel and spectacular views overlooking I-90 several
hundred feet below the trail. While the Trail crosses much of the
state, the section shown here is about 17 miles long and by far the
most spectacular. MILW abandoned this route in 1985.
