 Western trail head.  The westernmost mile or two are quite rough, but smoothes out before the 1st tunnel.  Approaching the 500 ft long trestle on the upper leg of the switch back.  Eastern Trail head. |
 Crossing one of the trestles on the upper loop of the switchback.  Another trestle and tunnel!  Looking down from the upper switchback leg, we see one of the lower leg trestles crossed earlier and will cross again in 4-5 miles. |
