Here are some tid-bids from the journey:

Part ONE of the journey: Mumbai to Bangalore by 1013 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Coimbatore Express. The loco was WCG2 #20122 from LTT to PUNE and WDM3A #17970 of Krishnarajapuram from Pune to Bangalore. My coach was WGACCN 03106 (B2) based at LTT, built by RCF in February 2003. The pantry gets a 7.25 on 10. The variety of food offered was excellent, and the recipe was tasty too! The coach had a very poor ride, and overall punctuality was okay.

Part TWO of the Journey: Returned from Thrisur by 2617 Mangala Lakshadweep Express. The loco was WDM2 #16885 of Ernakulam. My coach was WGACCN 01109 (B1) based at ERMC. The coach was built by RCF in February 2001. The coach was POH-ed at Golden Rock Workshops. There were no mobile charging points. Passenger amenities - Average. The Pantry car is okay, and gets 8 on 10.
