ABOVE: solid pennant heralds were soon added. AA 1095 is still a 50-ton car (1957 reweight stencil) but has 9-inch numbers with no space between digits. It also has the spelled out name on the ends. |

BELOW: AA 1080 has the same paint scheme but is a 55-ton car (reweighted in 1966). Note the space between "1" and "0" and it would have "A.A." reporting marks on the ends. |
