US 214213, 338'x56'x18'3", steel, 2757 gross tons, build at Ecorse, Mich, Great Lakes engineering Works, 1916, hull 129. Engines same Ann Arbor Boat 6 Boilers: four scotch marine, 13'2"x12', built by Marine Boiler Works, Toledo, 1916. Leased to Nicholson Universal Steamship Company in 1935 to carry automobiles between Milwaukee and Muskegon. Requisitioned by War Shipping Administration 1942. Engines removed and hull sold to John Roen. Sides cut down and reduced to a pulpwood barge. |
