President Kennedy was killed yesterday.
The Ohio-Michigan
game was scheduled to be played as usual, but was cancelled about 10 AM today.
All trains (4) had started according to schedule.

The NYC train never left the Unon Station.
The C&O trains were stopped
at Walbridge, turned and returned to Columbus
The B&O train got as far
as Hallett tower on Toledo Terminal tracks. Here it was held for about
30 minutes until it was decided what to do. At 10:15 AM it proceceded
on across the diamond on TT tracks and continued around the belt on west side
to Bates. It then switched to B&O tracks and returned to starting
point.

Left at 11:20 AM. B&O passenger was due from north at 11:39 AM, running on north bound track from YD in Detroit to Alexis, running around a freight on south bound track.

NYC 5929-5943, 9 cars. Arrived Alexis 10:20 AM left 10:27.
Ann Arbor crew took over, NYC crew left. Called back for 5:30 PM.
