ALL CONCERNED:
Effective 12:01 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 1964, automatic flashing lights and short arm gates will be placed in service at Freedland Street, located just west of MP-73
MAIN TRACK
Starting circuits are located 1320 feet east and west of crossing. Crossing must be occupied within 3 minutes after entering starting circuits, otherwise flashing lights and gates will clear for vehicle traffic on Freedland Street.
Re-start circuits are located 17 ½ feet east and west of crossing. Insulated joints for re-start circuits are painted yellow for ready identification. Due to shortness of re-start circuits, must come to full stop after entering re-start circuits to permit flashing lights and gates to actuate and approaching traffic on highway to receive ample warning.
PASSING TRACK
Signals and gates will be actuated by circuits located 440 feet east and west of crossing. Re-start circuits are located 17 ½ feet east and west of crossing. Insulated joints for restart circuits are painted yellow for ready identification. Due to shortness of re-start circuits, trains that stop operate at low speed before reaching re-start circuits, must come to full stop after entering re-start circuits to permit flashing lights and gates to actuate and approaching traffic on highway to receive ample warning.
