ALL CONCERNED:

Account football specials Saturday, Nov. 21, 1959, absolute block will be maintained between "FOLLOWING" train movements from 9:01 a.m. until 8:01 PM, unless cancelled earlier by train order. |

Temporary block stations, with call letters as shown, will he established as follows: West Alexis opposite yard limit board (N); Samaria (SA); Lulu (NG); Diann (MX); Dundee (RN); Azalia (K); East Milan-oppsite yard limit board (MB). |

Operators at block stations will hold "FOLLOWING" trains unless or until preceding train has passed the next block office in advance. Block territory extends from West Alexis to East Milan for Westward trains, and from East Milan to West Alexis for Eastward trains. |

At Diann and Dundee train order signal will also be used as block signal and all rules applying to train order signals will apply when being used as block signal. At other block stations, account train order, signal not available, block operators will use proesed signal with green flag by day—green light by night (or when day signals cannot be plainly seen), to indicate block is clear; and stop indftation with red flag by day—red light by night (or when day signals cannot be plainly seen), to stop and hold trains when block is not clear. |

Normal irdication of block signals—Stop, Signal must be at stop indication at all times except when changed to clear indication to permit a train to pass, As soon as an entire train displaying markers has passed beyond signals it must be re turned to stop indication. |

Approaching trains will sound station whistle (14—M) and will answer per Rule 14-G when given clear indication on block signa1 |

When there are no train orders and block is clear for an approaching train, the signal will be changed to clear indicat.ion as soon as enginerman sounds station whistle, that train may enter block without reducing speed. When there are train orders the signal must be left at stop indication and clearance (X—61) issued in regular manner (with train orders, if any), for train approaching, endorsing on clearance (X—61) in space near top of form “Block clear at ______M" inserting time last preceding train cleared next station in advance. |

A train stopped by stop indication at block station must not thereafter proceed without clearance card (X—61) properly endorsed in manner provided in Para. 7. |

In case means of conmiunication fails, block operators may, after 10 mins. have elapsed following departure of last preceding train, issue clearance (X—61) endorsing thereon “Block is not clear. Last preceding train departed at_______M". Train receiving clearance so endorsed may then proceed at restricted speed, if not restricted by train orders or otherwise. |
