Cedar Point's HalloWeekends Parade Photos 2008

This runs every day of HalloWeekends and runs down a designated route throughout the park.
I caught up with it on the Main Midway near the Snoopy Boutique and Video Arcade.

That's quite a hearse!!!

OK, those pumpkins are cool!

The Peanuts gang lives at Cedar Point! Here we have Sally and Charlie Brown in their big moment in the sun!!!

OK, that's one big spider!!!

Lots of neat vehicles in this parade!

OK I'm scared now! That's one big dude!!!

This parade has it all!

Got enough eyes???

This is cool!

Quite a vehicle to take your "last ride" on earth in isn't it?

And finally, Snoopy, the most famous beagle in the world, gets his big moment in the sun! Happy Halloween!!!

Without any doubt, Cedar Point is still the best at what it does! Even if it rains, there's still lots to see in the park! The Town Hall Museum offers great historical artifacts to be enjoyed and the video arcades are great! And lets not forget, all the awesome indoor haunted houses for HalloWeekends!!! Cedar Point will always have a special place in my heart, as it seems I still can't get enough of this place even after visiting here every year since 1992!!! On Saturday night around 11pm, I ended up leaving the park as I was absolutely spent after 2 days at the park! I stopped by a local Subway restaurant on the way back to the hotel and picked up a Turkey & Bacon sub to enjoy at the hotel.
Sunday would be my relaxation or "off" day as I had no plans to go to the park but had to take care of some other stuff such as laundry as this is only the beginning of a huge cross-country adventure! I first stopped by Best Buy to see if I could get the mirror cleaned on my camera because of a nasty dust spot on it (it's only a nuisance as it's not on the sensor but I got sick of looking at it in the viewfinder). I found out that Best Buy sends out cameras for this type of cleaning, so I'll just have to wait until I get home to have it cleaned. I took a drive out to the facility I used to work at 7 years ago at Cedar Point and visited some former co-workers. I then headed back to the hotel and walked over to a nearby Long John Silvers/Taco Bell split restaurant and had lunch. After lunch, I put gas in the rental car for $2.30 a gallon at Sam’s Club located nearby the hotel. It’s so nice that your membership there is valid nationwide!!! Amazingly, last Thursday afternoon (October 23rd, 2008), I paid $3.22 a gallon back home in New York, what a difference a couple states make!!! I checked out a couple other stores over the course of today looking at some electronic stuff at Best Buy and a place called "ABC Warehouse" and then headed back to the hotel and did my laundry and some housekeeping on the computer and camera while watching the Cleveland Browns – Jacksonville Jaguars game since I couldn't see the Buffalo Bills game here (oh, and we lost to Miami 25-16, doh!!!). At around 10:30pm, I drove the rental car back to Enterprise as I wouldn’t be needing it any longer. I took a taxi back to the hotel and took a "nap" for an hour and a half before I had to get up again and get ready to leave the hotel.
