Silver Rails Country 2012: The Silver Rails Gallery & Memorial Library
On October 18th, my final day in Silver Rails Country, I wanted to visit the Silver Rails Gallery & Memorial Library which is located at 109 South Gex St. in downtown La Plata. The gallery is run by the American Passenger Rail Heritage Foundation and as of my visit, featured contributions from the following photographers/artists: Jackie Hadnot, Chris Guenzler, J. Craig Thorpe, Jim Jordan, Ken Barrett, Tony Escarsega, Nathan Chidester, Nick Smith, Carl Morrison, Robert Tabern, and Will Anderson. Several photographer's displays in the gallery also feature digital photo frames with many more of their photos on "digital display". Included here is a photo essay of this fine gallery of railroad art. Special thanks to Bob Cox for providing the list of people contributing their work to the gallery and to Amy Cox for the tour of the gallery!!!

OK, I said this before and I'll say it again, I want to get back into model trains again!!!
