This is the CP&LE's "youngest" locomotive having been built in 1942. It was originally built with an 0-4-0T wheel configuration. In 1962, it was sold to Arthur E. LaSalle of the American Railroad Equipment Association. In 1963, it was leased to Cherokee Wonderland in Cherokee, NC. It was sold to Cedar Point in 1963 and rebuilt with its current 2-4-0 wheel configuration. Originally named "Victoria R.I.", it was renamed "George R." in 1981 after George Roose who was a former president of Cedar Point and the builder of the CP&LE. This is the heaviest locomotive on the CP&LE and the above photo was taken inside the railroad's shop building.
