This car features roomettes (small bedrooms) and bedrooms (larger "deluxe" bedrooms complete with a private bathroom and shower) on its upper level. The lower level features more roomettes, a family bedroom as well as a handicap-accessible bedroom. The lower level of the car also houses bathrooms and a shower. If you're gonna take a long-distance trip, and you can afford the extra fare, I highly recommend getting a sleeping car. You will have a level of comfort you just won't find in coach, and all of your meals are included in the cost of the ticket as well! Special Note: These cars were originally named after all 50 states with this car delivered as "Connecticut". Today however, the names are no longer on the cars. |
