This car started as Superliner I Coach #34060, and was later renumbered to #31592 when it was converted into a Smoker Coach. In 2004, the car was involved in a derailment in Mississippi. It was later repaired with funds from the California Department of Transportation. Upon repair, the car was once again renumbered to #34090. The car is currently leased by California D.O.T. and sports a variation of the Pacific Surfliner scheme. |
