This car was originally built in 1947 for the New York Central and ran primarally in pool service as well as on the Empire State Express trains. The car ran on Amtrak until it's retirement and eventual sale in 1984 to the Western New York Railway Historical Society. Today the car is used on the Medina Railroad Museum's train excursions as well as the annual "Day Out With Thomas" event at the museum in Medina, New York.
