This car was originally built as a 44 seat diner for the Great Northern Railway's famous "Empire Builder" train. The car served on Amtrak as a dining car until its eventual retirement in 1981. The car is now on display at the Lake Shore Railway Historical Society's museum and is open for public viewing when the museum is open, and during certain times of the year is open for breakfast served onboard!
